They have impacted everyone across the world in both good and bad ways.


Online Friends

An online friendship is a relationship you have through technology and not through personal contact. You can make an online friend on social media video game and more. It can be any kind of relationship. They can be healthy and unhealthy so watch your step online. Don’t stumble into a bad online relationship.


It can affect the social side of your health triangle because you might not be paying attention to your friends or family because you are distracted by it. It can affect the emotional side of your health triangle because you are worried about whether or not they are lying to you about wanting to be your friend so you are sad or worried instead of happy. It can affect your physical health because if you are chatting online instead of exercising it increases your chances of getting really fat and lazy and out of shape. It can also affect your social health because if you start to prefer only chatting online you might start to lose real life friends. It can also affect your mental health because if your chatting with someone online it’s hard to show how you feel or what you mean in real life with just emojis and words and it could make you sad or frustrated if someone takes something the wrong way online. Lastly it could affect your physical, emotional and social health if you stay up too late online. Physical because you won’t have as much energy, social because you’ll be grumpy and nobody wants to talk to a grumpy person, and emotional because you might be sad that you lost your friends because of your attitude, or you might be mad at yourself for staying up late.


Issues or Problems

Technology and the people who use technology aren't always great, but I have some solutions for the people that have issues.

  • Problem: Being bullied on a game. Solution: Delete your account and make a new one.
  • Problem: Getting suspicious calls from people you don't know. Solution: Next time you get one don't answer it, and block the number. If you are waiting from a call from someplace you do not know the phone number of, answer it and don't answer any questions or anything and just wait and see if it is suspicious Example: Someone answers when you didn't say anything. as if you said something but you didn't), and if they are suspicious then hang up and block them.
  • Problem: You do not go outside because you play on your electronics. Solution: Limit your electronic time, and reward yourself if you do meet the limiting requirements, or go outside and exercise while playing video games, but make sure to pay attention to where you are going though.
