Rio McGillvary's Portfolio

This is my strength this year and why I believe that is true. This year, I have developed better collaboration skills. I have done this because I have been the person to start group projectd ecen when my peers or classmates wouldn't be on task. I've even started group projects entirely on my own if nobody else would participate. I started working on my app too for enrichment during PLP getting that started (and now I'm the leader of our two person team). Plus, I also helped keep others on task when they were getting off-task in multiple projects to help keep getting work done for a project we are workig on. When I lacked these skills, I didn't feel like I was a part of my class and school as much as I do now. Now I know I can be a leader too.

A picture of the drone adaptation based on the design I drew for our group to get us started on the drone project this year. Because I took initiative by drawing designs for both of our drone groups, I helped everyone collaborate to create one agreed upon design. This was during the Design Challenge. A picture of the research I did for our poster about the Marshall Plan. Almost all of that research was conducted by me and I made sure my group mates did something to help and gave then tasks to complete to help finish the project. So, in the end, everyone helped at least a little. Because I assigned tasks and kept our group on track, I made sure everyone in the group collaborated. This picture was taken March 4th, 2025.

During CyberPatriots, I helped my group mates solve problems with their machines as well when they needed help. Working together to solve problems is definitely collaboration. This picture was taken January 24h 2025.

Tasks for the app I had been working on for Enrichment. Because I assinged the tasks and made the form for new recruits to our app dev team (currently just the two of us, I took action as a leader with my partner. This picture was taken March 4th 2025. The red is my censoring of our usernames; nobody should need to know that until we have completed our first project at least!
